Privacy Policy

PerpSight does not currently require an account to use. This policy describes what we collect today, and what will change once account features (watchlist sync, alerts, saved items) move from your browser to a server-backed account.

What is stored today

• Watchlist, alert rules, saved items, and notification preferences— stored only in your browser's local storage. We do not receive or store this data on our servers.
• Usage analytics — pageviews and feature-usage events (e.g. which indicators or screens you use) via our analytics provider, PostHog. This is aggregate product-usage data, not tied to a real name or account.
• Server logs — standard web-server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) retained briefly for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
• Email address — only if you voluntarily submit one (e.g. a future briefing-signup form). Used solely for that purpose; never sold or shared with third parties.

Analytics provider

We use PostHog for product analytics. See their own privacy policy for how they handle data in transit and at rest.

Deletion rights

Since watchlist/alerts/saved data lives in your browser, you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's local storage in your browser settings. If you've submitted an email address to us, email support@perpsight.com to request its removal.
